The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Maner P.S. Case No.550 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and other co-accused persons are said to have assaulted the son of the informant by means of lathi and rod. It is also alleged that the petitioner took Rs.21,000/- from the pocket of the informant's son.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is submitted that no specific overt act is alleged against the

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Class, Danapur, Patna in connection with Maner P.S.
