JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.393 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 354, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the allegations made in the first information report that the accused persons including the petitioners assaulted several persons causing injuries to them for extortion of rupees one lac as Rangdari, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail.
The application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29534 of 2018 (2) dt.17-05-2018 2/2 shall be considered on merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
