JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-09-2019 The only grievance left in the present case was nonpayment of the amount of gratuity, which has been sanctioned by the office of the Accountant General (A & E), Bihar, Patna vide PPO/GPO dated 30th August, 2019, and a sum of Rs. 9,90,000/- has been directed to be paid by the Treasury Officer, Patna Collectorate.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Treasury Officer, Patna Collectorate to make payment of the aforesaid amount of gratuity totaling to a sum of Rs. 9,90,000/- within a period of four weeks from today, failing
Patna High Court CWJC No.10020 of 2017(7) dt.11-09-2019 2/2 which the said Treasury Officer shall not draw his salary. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a deduction of Rs. 10,000/- each has been made from the amount of gratuity and leave encashment regarding which the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the departmental authority.
Liberty so sought is granted.
