2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 33, 41 and 42 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, registered in connection with Forest Case No. 197 of 2014.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated on mere suspicion and he has not been arrested on the spot, rather he is said to have been identified by forest official as one of the persons, who fled away from the place of occurrence. The recovery of twenty quintals of firewood has been made from the tractor, which, however, does not belong to the petitioner.

Learned APP, on the other hand, opposes the bail petition, submitting that twenty quintals of firewood has been recovered on the specific information that the petitioner along with co-accused Naresh Yadav were unloading the firewood from a broken down 207 Tata vehicle. The petitioner has one antecedent of similar nature as he is accused in Forest Case No. 23 of 2016.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
