1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case no. 23 of 2023 registered under sections 498A, 341, 323, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that subsequent to her marriage with the petitioner he was employed as an Assistant Teacher in the Government school and soon thereafter the accused persons including the petitioner herein started to abuse, assault and torture her for dowry to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh in cash and motorcycle.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68872 of 2023(2) dt.01-11-2023 2/2 petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No marriage was solemnized between him and the informant. He is in custody since 18.7.2023 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the FIR, the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, his being in custody since 18.7.2023 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case no. 23 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Jamui.
