====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE A. ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 19-01-2026 Without going into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of 'Admission' with the consent of both the counsels.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent (HPCL) on 02.09.2025 seeking extension of time to provide an alternative site but the authority till date has not acted on the said representation. Learned counsel seeks a

Patna High Court CWJC No.16237 of 2025(2) dt.19-01-2026 2/3 direction from this Court to direct the respondent (HPCL) to consider the said representation by fixing a timeframe.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent (HPCL) submits that the representation given by the petitioner does not contain any endorsement of the corporation having received the same nor the petitioner has enclosed any postal receipt to show that the same has been addressed to the respondent corporation. Learned counsel submits that in case the petitioner gives a fresh representation, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a suitable representation to the respondentcorporation (Respondent No. 2 herein) within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the authority shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass necessary orders. The authority is directed to pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition
