The writ application prays for a direction upon the respondents to pay the wages due to him for the work done by him under the MANREGA Scheme.

The petitioner states that he would be satisfied if the writ application is disposed of permitting him to file a fresh application/representation for payment of his outstanding dues before the concerned authority who may be directed to consider/examine the same and take appropriate decision. A counter affidavit is filed stating diverse facts, particularly relating to payment of the wages to the labours engaged in diverse schemes adopted or executed under MANREGA Scheme. However, considering the stand taken by the petitioner, the counsel for the respondent does not object to disposal of the

The writ application stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a fresh representation for payment of his outstanding dues before the District Magistrate. If any such application/representation is filed within 03 weeks, the concerned respondent shall cause an enquiry to be made and take appropriate decision in accordance with law without much delay.
