2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 23.04.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 21544/2025 in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 284/2015, to the extent of extending the period for the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court, as he could not do so within the stipulated time. It is submitted that the reasons for the failure to surrender within the prescribed period have been sufficiently explained in the application, and an assurance has been given that such lapse shall not occur in future.

3. In view of the submissions made and the grounds stated in the application, the petitioner is granted a further period of four weeks from today to surrender before the concerned trial Court.
4. Accordingly, with the aforesaid direction, the present Cr. Misc. application is allowed. The order dated 23.04.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 21544/2025 stands modified to the above extent, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) in the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
