For quashing the part of the order dated 1.8.2019 passed by the District Level Supply Selection whereby and where-under the candidature of the petitioners for grant of license under Public Distribution system has been rejected contrary to the provision of the Bihar Targeted PDS (Control) Order 2016.

ii. For direction upon the respondent authorities to grant license to the petitioners pursuant to the select list in which the name of the petitioners appears in the select list. The learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, has referred to Clause-32(vii) of the Bihar Targeted PDS (Control) Order 2016 and has submitted that the petitioners be granted liberty to approach the Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Bihar, Patna, for redressal of their grievances.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed, however, with liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate petition before the Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies. Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of their aforesaid grievances and in case such a representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, preferably
