Petitioner in the present case has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with NDPS Case No.73 of 2020 arising out of Lalganj P.S. Case No.230 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 27 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 22.10.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 19578 of 2021.

This Court has noticed that in this case, rigours of Section 37(2) of the NDPS Act would be attracted and the petitioner has got ten criminal antecedents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this

In the aforesaid view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial by keeping the records on day to day basis within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
