This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 90 of 2021 registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 35(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Witch Practices Act, 199.

In view of recent decision of the Supreme Court in the case of G.R. Ananda Babu vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Anr. reported in 2021 SCC OnLine SC 176, this second anticipatory bail application is not maintainable. It is accordingly, dismissed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Sunnykr/ Pawan U T
