2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 118 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is in jail since 05.04.2023. He is accused of killing his own wife. The marriage was solemnized in the year 2017. The trial is being delayed and only charges have been framed though the petitioner is in jail for more than one and a half year.

4. Considering the delay in trial and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

5. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70188 of 2024(2) dt.29-11-2024 2/2 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st Gaya in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 118 of 2023.
