2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3), 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. Petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have abducted the sister of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been made accused on account of the fact that he happens to be the brother of the co-accused Sujit Kumar with whom the victim was having a love affair. The victim after her recovery has also been examined under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. wherein her age has been recorded to be 17/18 years and she has admitted that she was in a relationship with the co-

The name of the petitioner has not even been whispered in the entire statement. The petitioner is in custody since 02.06.2025 and the charge-sheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the application for bail.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances and also considering the fact that the thrust of the allegation is against co-accused Sujit Kumar and the petitioner is not even named in the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., let the above named petitioner, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Suryagarha P.S. Case No. 146 of 2025.
