The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 406, 409, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is alleged to have misappropriated the government money under the government scheme of 'Nal Jal Yojna'.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is Ward Member and has no role in the construction work of any government scheme. She is only liable to monitor the construction work. Moreover, most of the work has already been completed and rest work is in progress. Petitioner is lady and has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66608 of 2022(8) dt.13-07-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. 1st, Munger / concerned court in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 163 of 2021, G.R. No. 2191 of 2021, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
