BAJANTHRI) Date : 29-03-2024 Show cause on behalf of the Opposite Party Nos. 2 to 4 alongwith certain documents have been placed on record. They have admitted illegally certain lands have been encroached. To that effect, removal of encroachment process is required to be undertaken by the concerned official-respondents. Due to declaration of General election, most of the officials have been drafted to election duty, therefore, immediate action would be taken after General election process is completed.

2. The concerned authority is hereby directed to take note of Hon'ble Supreme Court observation made in the case of HYDHA MUSLIM WELFARE MASJID-E HIDAYA AND MADARASA VERSUS N. DINAKARAN AND OTHERS decided on 26.02.2024 in SLA (C) NO(S). 4375/2024 insofar as removal of illegal encroachments. Hope the official respondent would take necessary steps to remove the illegal encroachments before 1st July, 2024. Failing which the petitioner is at liberty to file Interlocutory Application to revive this order so as to initiate contempt of court proceedings against such of those officials who are violating the orders of this court.

3. With the above observation, the present MJC contempt petition stands dropped.
