2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2),, 115(2), 117(2), 109 and 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, petitioner is one of the assailants of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus and no specific overt act has been alleged against this petitioner. Charge sheet has already been submitted. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 2.1.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the State and the informant oppose the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the gravity of accusation as well as the materials collected during course of investigation, petition for bail of this petitioner is dismissed. Since, petitioner is in custody, let the trial be expedited and concluded preferably within a year.
