JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-10-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Navin Kr. Pandey, learned APP for the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2017 for the offence under Sections 406, 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner being Panchyat Secretary is alleged to have committed misappropriation in distribution of Social Security Pension of Rs. 45,63, 500/-.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the said amount has been distributed to all the beneficiaries and none of the beneficiaries has complained for the same. He further submits that petitioner has not been paid salary for the last fifteen years and he is in custody since 22.08.2022.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner, named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68507 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 above, is directed to be released on bail subject to the condition that he will cooperate in the trial on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S.
