2. The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 307, 354(B), 341, 323, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, on 25.12.2023 at about 6 PM, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these petitioners came and assaulted informant and his family members, due to which, mother and wife of informant sustained grievous injury.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties are co-villagers. In fact, informant is a heavy drunkard

No.70512 of 2024(3) dt.21-02-2025 2/2 and on the alleged date, in drunken condition, he came to the house of petitioners and started abusing them with filthy language and on protest, the scuffle took place between family members of both sides. F.I.R. has been lodged after a delay of four days without there being any plausible explanation of delay. Petitioners are in custody since 13.08.2024, having clean antecedent. Chargesheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the period of custody and clean antecedent, let the above named petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - 13, Saran at Chapra in connection with Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 339 of 2023.
