While disposing off the OA, the Tribunal had observed as under :

Patna High Court CWJC No.2190 of 2018 dt.05-03-2018 2/2 "In view of this, the applicant's case deserves consideration. It is directed that the respondents shall examine how many candidates in the concerned category did not join and if the applicant comes in the merit of wait listed candidates as per the vacancy, he shall be offered appointment within three months of receipt of a copy of this order."

In view of the direction reproduced above, the ball is in the court of the Railways. Let them pass an appropriate order in this regard within a period of three months from today keeping in mind the parameters which have been talked about in the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Patna Bench, Patna dated 04.08.2017.

Writ stands disposed of.
