In compliance of the order, disobedience whereof has been complained of, as also in compliance of the order of this Court dated 13.10.2023, the learned Vice-Chancellor, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrti University, Darbhanga, is present in the Court and has submitted that a cheque for a sum of Rs.3,97,920/- dated 13.10.2023 is ready for payment to the petitioner, in lieu of the outstanding dues. He has also tendered unqualified apology for the delay in compliance of the order of this Court, which is accepted.

In such view of the matter, the rule is discharged and the apology tendered by the learned Vice Chancellor is accepted. Let the aforesaid cheque dated 13.10.2023 be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the petitioner is having any subsisting grievance, he be granted liberty to avail such remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty so sought is granted.

The contempt petition stands disposed off.
