The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No.695 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 354(B), 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have tried to outrage the modesty of the informant's wife. It is also alleged that the petitioner assaulted the informant by means of rod on his head. It is further alleged that the petitioner assaulted the brother-inlaw of the informant by means of dabiya on his head. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition.

It is further submitted that the injuries sustained by the injured persons are simple in nature, which is clear from the injury report enclosed with the case diary. It is also submitted that there is admitted land dispute between the parties. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Considering the nature of injuries, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No.695 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
