For quashing of the order bearing Reference No. PTC/HRM/DA/1374/ 2023 dated 17.08.2023 issued by the Assistant General Manager cum Disciplinary Authority i.e.

respondent no. 2, in reference to the charge sheet PTC/HRM/DA/CS- 04/2023 dated 31.07.2021 whereby in erroneous manner without affording sufficient time to allow the petitioner to submit reply to the charge memo and without

For quashing of the charge sheet issued under Regulation 6 of the Canara Bank Officer Employees (Disciplinary & Appeal) Regulation, 1976 bearing Reference No. PTC/HRM/DA/CS04/2023 dated 31.07.2023 whereby it has been proposed to hold an enquiry against the petitioner in respect to the Article of Charges and statements of misconduct mentioned in the said charge sheet, in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that during the interregnum period, the order of punishment has been passed on 10.1.2024, which has been assailed by the petitioner by filing an appeal before the Deputy General Manager-cum-Appellate Authority, Canara Bank (Head Office), Bangaluru, hence, it is prayed that the appellate authority be directed to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from today. It is directed accordingly.
