The petitioner has filed the present application for grant of pre-arrest bail in connection with Lakhisarai (Kabaiya) P.S. Case No. 469 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that on failure to pay an extortion amount Rs. 5 lacs, the petitioner shot dead the son of the informant, namely, Deepak Kumar @ Chotu, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail.
