2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Karja P.S. Case no.117 of 2025 registered under sections 132, 221 and 217 of the B.N.S and Section 7 of the EC Act.
3. The allegations in the F.I.R is that upon inspection of P.D.S shop of the petitioner, several irregularities have been detected. It is further alleged that the petitioner also created hindrance in the said process of inspection.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a PDS dealer and in the absence of any specific allegations against him and without disclosing as to what were the irregularities in the said shop, the petitioner has been made accused in the present case. The petitioner never misbehaved with the inspecting authorities and it is only due to extraneous reasons the allegations have been levelled against him. Further,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68558 of 2025(2) dt.26-09-2025 2/2 there is no allegation of having caused any misappropriation of food-grains and no customers have raised any complaint against him. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/trial.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts and considering the fact that petitioner is a PDS dealer and also considering that no specific irregularities have been pointed out against him, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case no.117 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S, 2023.
