The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vaishali P.S. Case No. 105 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 32(2) and 42(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the present petitioner preferred an application for grant of bail, which was rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 24816 of 2019 vide order dated 22.04.2019 with observation that he will be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial. Now, six months has already been completed. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.03.2019.
