2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No.80 of 2024 registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation is that the petitioner has committed rape with the victim, who is a minor girl.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that there is a delay of seven days in lodging the complaint against the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there is direct allegation that

6. Having considered the fact aforesaid and the serious allegation of rape against the petitioner with a minor girl, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Sunil Dutta Mishra, J) Harish/- U T
