1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction directing and commanding the respondents to pay death claim payable to the petitioner on account of death of her husband which has been withheld due to some illegal ground."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to annexure-2, wherein the name of the deceased husband of the petitioner finds place at serial no.37 and it is submitted that he had died in a motor vehicle accident, however,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14593 of 2023(6) dt.03-09-2024 2/2 the same is not a hit and run case, nonetheless, it is mentioned at serial no.37 of Annexure-2 that the compensation amount has been approved, however, the same is pending for payment on account of non-receipt of allotment of funds, thus it is prayed on behalf of the petitioner that she be granted liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, who in turn be directed to process the claim of the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition in support of her claim already filed earlier, within a period of two weeks from today, whereupon the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram shall process the same and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
