The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order contained in Memo No. 56 dated 27.02.2016 passed by Sub Divisional Officer, Sasaram whereby and whereunder the PDS licence granted to the petitioner being License No. 52/2007 was cancelled; and for further direction to the Collector to dispose of the supply appeal being Supply Appeal No. 03/2017.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner confines the prayer only for disposal of the aforesaid Supply Appeal No. 03/2017 which is still pending before the Collector, Rohtas at Sasaram.

4. Having regard to the nature of the prayer of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1633 of 2018 dt.20-03-2018 2/2 petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Rohtas at Sasaram (respondent no. 2) to consider and dispose of Supply Appeal No. 03/2017, if still pending, on its own merit and in accordance with law after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
