2. This writ application has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to pay family pension to the petitioner with arrears, which she is entitled to being widow of a deceased government servant.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State of Bihar. It transpires that because of wrong entry of the name of the petitioner in the authority slip and other documents,

Patna High Court CWJC No.20591 of 2019 dt.02-12-2019 2/2 she was not getting her post retiral dues. Necessary corrections have been made and the office of the Accountant General has issued letter No. 1280 dated 26.11.2019 to the Treasury Officer, Patna, with corrected name of the petitioner for the purpose of payment of the post retiral dues.

4. The grievance of the petitioner has thus been redressed. The Treasury Officer shall now ensure that the payments are made to the petitioner forthwith.
