1. The petitioner has filed the instant application for the following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding the respondent authorities to appoint him on Class IV post pursuant to advertisement no. 1/2012 and panel prepared pursuant thereto and name of petitioner appeared at Sr. No. 3606 under SC Category but appointment letters were not issued to petitioner but other persons were appointed though still there is large number of Class IV post lying vacant in the District of Saran.

(iii) For issuance of any other relief/reliefs for which petitioner is found entitled in the eye of law and in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

At the outset, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that final merit list pursuant to the said Advertisement no.1 of 2012 was prepared in the year 2018 and appointments from the same are still going on. It is submitted that the petitioner has not received any response to the representations filed, copies of which have been brought on record as Annexure-P/6 to the petition. As such, learned counsel prays that the respondent District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused contents of the petition, the instant application is

Patna High Court CWJC No.15471 of 2025(2) dt.13-11-2025 3/3 disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Saran, Chapra (respondent no.5) within a period of four weeks.

4. In case such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the respondent no.5 shall decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of its filing. In case, the representation of the petitioner does not find favour with the respondent concerned, reasoned order for the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

5. It is made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the case of the petitioner which is to be decided by the respondent concerned.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions.
