The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dehri Town P.S. Case No. 364 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2023 and there is recovery of 24.40 litres of illicit liquor from her possession. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from her possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

No.68518 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise Court No. 1, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Dehri Town P.S. Case No. 364 of 2023.

The petitioner will visit Dehri Town Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
