2. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondents no. 4 and 5, showing payment of all the admitted dues except for the remaining amount of Rs. 26,740/- with regard to Group Insurance, the reason being that as the Finance Officer was on leave, the cheque could not be signed. However, learned counsel for the J.P. University submitted that yesterday a Professor of the college has been made Incharge and he shall be signing the cheque by tomorrow.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands
Patna High Court CWJC No.12765 of 2017 dt.09-08-2018 2/2 disposed off with a direction to the J.P. University to ensure that the cheque of Rs. 26,740/- is handed over to the petitioner latest within 10 days from today.
4. The Court would only indicate that if the cheque has not been prepared/despatched, the J.P. University may credit payment directly into the account of the petitioner. The Court would only observe that the direction issued by the Court with regard to payment of D.D.A. shall be governed by the order dated 08.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2171 of 2017.
5. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that there is some discrepancy with regard to ACP/pay scale, for the same he shall be at liberty to make a detailed representation before the Registrar of the J.P.
