JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-08-2018 This writ application has been filed through Sandhya Kumari, claiming to be the member of the School Education Committee, Middle School, Manpur, Ara and Grand-Daughter of Late Ram Balak Singh Yadav, who according to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10293 of 2018(2) dt.14-08-2018 2/2 petitioner, was a donor. A direction is being sought to the respondents to change the name of the School and rechristen the School in name of the donor in terms of resolution dated 12.07.2014.

A supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner today. It is stated in the said supplementary affidavit that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Principal Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, in 2017 itself which is still pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that instead of going into the merits of the case, the Court may direct the Principal Secretary to dispose of the appeal within a reasonable period.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Principal Secretary to consider the petitioner's claim, in accordance with the law and take a decision within six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

This disposes of the application.
