2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20, 21(b), 21(c) and 22 of the NDPS Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that from a Maruti Dzire 18.75 gm of Ganja and 11.97 gm of brown sugar was recovered. The petitioner and one Md. Sharuk were there in the vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is neither the driver nor the owner. It has also been submitted that the amount of ganja which has been recovered is less than small quantity whereas the brown sugar is though more than small quantity but much less than commercial quantity. The petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and is in

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the application for bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Jay Nagar P.S. Case No. 231 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madhubani.
