1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of writ/writs in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to immediate appoint the petitioner on the post of Level-3 employee in the Jurisdiction of Sitamarhi Civil Court in lieu of her husband who died in harness.

(ii) For commanding the respondents as to why the petitioner has not been appointed on compassionate ground since her husband was sole bread earner who has been died on duty.

(iii) For commanding the Respondent to immediately appoint the petitioner keeping the economical condition of the deceased employee family. The husband of the petitioner has died

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondents to decide the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in lieu of death of her husband in harness on 04.10.2016, while working on the post of Driver at Civil Court, Sitamarhi.

3. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District & Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi, to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground, in accordance with law and take appropriate decision within a period of four weeks from today.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
