The petitioner is in judicial custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 33 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018. Allegedly, it is a case of recovery of 4000 liters of spirit from a vehicle.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that he has no concern with the seized spirit as well as seized vehicle and no any incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner as well as petitioner is in judicial custody since 24.09.2022.
