JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 22-06-2018 Cognizance of the matter was taken based on the news report pointed to us. Today, learned Advocate General Sri Lalit Kishore points out that it was at the instance of the State Government that action was taken, the construction material was sent to the laboratory in Delhi and on finding it to be an inferior quality, the State Government has lodged an FIR, action against 43 Engineers taken and contractors are also being proceeded with. Merely on the basis of the material available on record, i.e. paper report, we see no reason to interfere into the matter. We are satisfied with the statement made by the learned Advocate General. The State Government is expected to proceed with the matter in accordance with law.
