It is submitted by the learned counsel for the District Board, Nawada that the G.P.F. amount standing to the credit of the petitioner in the Punjab National Bank, Nawada Branch has already been released in favour of the petitioner and as far as the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14963 of 2023(3) dt.15-04-2024 2/2 remaining portion of the G.P.F. amount is concerned, which is in the post office account, the same shall be released today. It is further submitted that the outstanding salary of the petitioner for the month of October, 2017 has already been paid to the petitioner and the arrears of salary on account of revision of pay shall be paid within a period of two weeks from today. 3.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the District Board, Nawada, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Executive Officer, District Board, Nawada to ensure payment of the balance G.P.F. amount to the petitioner by tomorrow and as far as the arrears of salary on account of revision of pay, is concerned, the same is directed to be paid within a period of two weeks from today, failing which he shall not draw his salary.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
