The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 148 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No. 666 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 108 litres of illicit Resham Lichi Nepali liquor from the house of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 18.08.2019.

No.76226 of 2019(2) dt.25-11-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 148 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No. 666/19.
