1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) For the respondents be directed to pay overtime salary allowance for the period of October 2011 to May 2013.
(b) For the respondents be directed to pay compound interest @9% per annum over the amount for which petitioner is entitled since date of retirement to till date of payment."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents has submitted by referring to the counter affidavit,
Patna High Court CWJC No.18141 of 2022(2) dt.16-04-2024 2/2 filed in the present case that the overtime bills of various employees, including the petitioner for the period of 2012-13 to 2018-19 have been cleared and as far as the petitioner is concerned, he has been paid a sum of Rs.4720.00 on the head of overtime allowance, hence the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
3. Accordingly, while disposing of the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents in case of any subsisting grievances.
