Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 381 of 2020 registered for the offence under section 420, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, section 11 of Bihar Bangal Gambling Act and Section 7 of Lotteries Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged in the first information report and has been falsely implicated in this case on the statement of the co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner had earlier also

Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and the criminal history of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected.
