JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-09-2018 This writ application has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to add surname 'Mishra' with the name of the petitioner in the grade-sheet cum mark-sheet of performance and the other documents issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education of 10th and 12th Examination of 2015 and 2017 respectively.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has relied on a decision of this Court dated 07.12.2017 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 17429 of 2017 in case of Shreya vs. Central Board of Secondary Education & Ors. which, in similar circumstance, was disposed of with the following directions:- "This application is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Chairman of C.B.S.E. to ensure strict compliance of the order of this Court dated 18.02.2016, if the petitioners files application for such addition, along with a copy of
Patna High Court CWJC No.18003 of 2018(2) dt.07-09-2018 2/2 the present order and the order of this Court dated 18.02.2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 1592 of 2016(supra).
It is, further, directed that if such application is filed by these petitioners in compliance of this order within four weeks from today, the C.B.S.E. will be obliged to take decision accordingly within eight weeks thereafter."
Since, the grievance, which the petitioner is raising, appears to be squarely covered by the said decision dated 07.12.2017, this application is also disposed of in similar terms. It is accordingly directed that if the petitioner files any application within four weeks from today for addition of her surname in the documents as indicated above, the Central Board of Secondary Education shall be obliged to take a decision in this regard within eight weeks thereafter.
This application is disposed of.
