1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For payment of arrears of salary for the period from 9.8.1999 till the date of retirement i.e. 30.9.2016 on account of grant of ACP and MACP.

(II) To upload the Income Tax statement of the petitioner for the financial year 2011-12.

(III) For payment of interest amount at the rate of 18% cumulatively due to none-payment of

Patna High Court CWJC No.16508 of 2022(2) dt.05-04-2024 2/2 arrears of salary from February, 2020 onwards as the pay slip was issued by the Accountant General, Bihar in the month of January 2020 itself till the date of payment.

(IV) Cost of litigation due to physical, mental and economical harassment faced by the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the arrears of salary has already been paid to the petitioner, however, he be given liberty to approach the respondent no.5 i.e. the Executive Engineer, Local Area Engineering Organisation, Planning and Development Department, Work Division- I, Jamui, for urging him to upload the Income Tax Statement of the petitioner for the financial year 2011-12. Liberty so sought is granted.
