JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-03-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Baisi PS Case No. 178 of 2017 (Special Case No. 18 of 2017) registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act.

It is submitted that petitioner is neither owner of the vehicle nor the driver, recovery of 14.6 Kg. Ganja is from the dickey of the vehicle, the driver has been granted bail by coordinate Bench of this Court and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Chandan Barman is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge, Purnea in connection with Baisi PS Case No. 178 of 2017 (Special Case No. 18 of 2017) .
