2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Ghorasahan (Jitna) P.S. Case No. 407 of 2021, G.R. Case No. 1259/2021, dated 19.09.2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 332, 337, 353, 504 and 506 of the I.P.C.

3. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Allegation against the petitioner has been levelled by the informant who is posted in SSB and who has been beaten up by the petitioner and others engaged in smuggling.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66995 of 2022(2) dt.25-04-2023 2/2 injury is simple in nature. However, the nature of injury does not in any manner reduce the offence of the petitioner of stopping the police personal and smuggling urea to Nepal.

6. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application filed on behalf of the petitioner is rejected.
