The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No.C2/698/17 registered under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Excise Act.

The accusation is that on suspicion, the petitioner and one Raja Sada were apprehended by the police and on search, 236 bottles, each containing 300 ml. Nepali Liquor, were recovered. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 11.12.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the

No.7149 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Case No.C2/698/17.
