ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 08-07-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of Admission with the consent of both the counsels.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner after the death of his father on 14.03.2023 has made an application for appointment on compassionate grounds on 06.10.2023, however, the authorities till date have not passed any order. Learned counsel has stated that the petitioner may be granted an opportunity to submit the necessary documents to substantiate that his father was aged only 55 years at the time of his death and the authorities may be directed to take a decision on the same.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15854 of 2024(2) dt.08-07-2025 2/2 respondents State has stated that based on the age mentioned in the Aadhar Card, the authorities have come to the conclusion that the age of the father of the petitioner at the time of his death was above 58 years and therefore the Block Supply Officer has recommended for rejection of the case of the petitioner. Learned counsel has stated that the authorities will pass necessary orders if provided some time.

4. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass necessary orders on the representation made by the petitioner. It is made clear that the authorities shall grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner for submitting any documents to substantiate his claim that his father was aged 55 years at the time of his demise. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possibly preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
