1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any appropriate writ, order/ orders, direction and commanding upon the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15822 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2024 2/2 respondent no. 2 to initiate the department proceeding against the respondent no. 5 where as non-compliance of the order dated 10.02.2014 passed by the court of Dy. Collector of Land Reforms Officer, at Biraul, Darbhanga in case no. 414 of 2013-14.

ii. For issuance of an application in the nature of mandamus or any appropriate writ, order/orders, direction and commanding upon the respondent no. 2 and 3 to givpe provide protection of life and property to the petitioner and his family members due to atrocity of the private respondents nos. 8 to 11 have been compelled to their native village with property."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
