2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 309 (2) and 309 (4) of the BNS.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant was going on his bike to the meeting center at Danahi and while returning towards gayghat, as he reached near Danahi Canal, two unknown miscreants on a Splendor Plus motorcycle intercepted him and on the point of pistol, snatched away a sum of Rs. 47,450/-, his mobile and the key of the bike.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the FIR was initially lodged against unknown miscreants. It is

Case No. 108 of 2025 and in that case he has given his confessional statement. On the basis of the said confessional statement, he has been remanded in this case. It is also submitted that nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. Moreover the petitioner has been languishing in judicial custody since 24.04.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail stating that the petitioner has three criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 72 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, East Champaran, Motihari.
