1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the petitioner prays for issuance of appropriate order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs, preferably in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent authority concerned to grant pay scale of Rs. 10,000-15,200/- to the petitioners and accordingly

Patna High Court CWJC No.15496 of 2023(2) dt.02-04-2024 2/2 revise their pension including payment of its arrears as petitioners are entitled for the said benefit in view of the Bihar Gazette notification published by the Government of Bihar in this regard on dated 14th February, 1996 as well as office order No.32 contained in Memo No. 468 dated 25.5.2018 and Memo No. 73 dated 30.3.2022 both issued under the signature of Respondent Chief Engineer and the said benefits has been extended/granted to other similarly situated persons vide Annexure-5 & 7 respectively of this writ petition, but similar claim of the petitioner has been discriminated."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
